Christmas Craft Creations – Tags Or ATC

Hi and welcome! Today I have two tags to share for the May’s Christmas Craft Creations challenge. The theme is Tags Or ATC and you can find all the details here.

I used the Lawn Fawn’s Plaid stencil and Distress inks to create the background piece and then cut it in half and used a tag punch. The two snowmen were from my stash, just colored them so that they match the plaid. I stamped and heat embossed snowflakes on the backgrounds and also added die cut snowflake behind each snowman. I also added some sparkle and these are my finished tags:

Christmas Craft Creations – Ribbon or Twine

Hello and welcome! Today I’m sharing my card for the January’s Christmas Craft Creations challenge. The theme is “Ribbon or Twine” and you can see the details on how to enter here. You have time till February 9th.

For my card I used supplies from my stash: already colored and die cut unicorn from Lawn Fawn’s stamp set and a dry embossed with stencil piece of cardstock (I am taking part in V’s Just Stash January challenge).

I stamped and die cut scarf and lots of gifts, then colored them with Copic markers and added details with sparkly gel pen. I used Distress inks to add color to the dry embossed panel. Lastly, I created “patterend paper” by stamping snowflake with rainbow colors around the edges of my card panel. I also stamped small snowflakes all around with gold Delicata ink and did a little bit of ink blending on the raised snowflakes.

To put the card together, first I wrapped twine around the dry embossed piece, then popped it on foam squares over a slightly larger mirrored card piece and then adhered all onto the rainbow snowflake panel (adhered onto my card base). Then I added the images, some on foam squares, some adhered flat. Added the sentiment and a bow out of the twine. Added few gold sequins and that was it.

Here is a video showing my process:

Christmas Craft Creations – Music 2

Hi and welcome back to our challenge at Christmas Craft Creations blog. October’s theme is Christmas Music and I have another example to share πŸ™‚

These two little critters are travelling for the holidays and singing (or listening to the radio). If you haven’t guessed it yet, it’s the Jingle Bells song πŸ™‚

To make the ride more fun, I have the car popped on an action wobble.

For the background I used Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Scattered Straw for the sky and Tumbled Glass and Broken China for the road/snow.

Here is a link to my video with all the details on how I assembled this card:

I used images from these Lawn Fawn stamp sets and cut them out with the corresponding dies:

I hope you will check the awesome projects from the rest of the team πŸ™‚ Challenge closes November 10th and I hope you will join us (there is a prize to be won).

Have a great day!

CCC June Blog Hop

Hi friends! I am a member of the Collected Crafty Collabs (CCC) group which is a small group of bloggers who come together for monthly challenges. This month’s theme is Critters and/or Stencils.

For my card I chose to use two mini stamp sets from Lawn Fawn: “So Jelly” and “Seahorsin’ Around” and a Dutch Doobadoo’s stencil “Triangle Wave”. I used a wreath builder template and stamped four times the octopus and one of the seahorses to create a circle. Then, I stamped the star in the center but a bit off side so that I can add a sentiment later. I masked them all (didn’t bother masking the legs of the octopuses) and ink blended Distress ink in Tumbled Glass all over the card panel. After that I applied Salty Ocean Distress ink through the stencil.

For the coloring I picked alcohol markers in bright and happy colors: pinks and purples for the octopuses, blues and greens for the seahorses and yellows for the star. I added details with Stardust and White Gelly Roll pens, a little bit of sparke with Clear Wink of Stella (I can’t have a card without sparkle πŸ˜€ ) and Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard. And I almost forgot to add the sentiment. Stamped “You’re a star” in black and heat embossed in clear. I trimmed a bit the card front on each side so it is a bit smaller than my card base (4×4) and before adhering all together, I also ink blended Cracked Pistachio Distress ink just around the edges.

So hard to capture the glittery details…

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am so excited to see what my crafty friends create. You should have come from Charlotte and your NEXT STOP on the hop is Lounon .

Have a great day!

Let’s Spin

Hi! I hope you are having a great day! Today I’m showing a fun spinning ring card. I used the cute Lawn Fawn’s Sweet Friends images to adhere onto the ring so they can happily spin around πŸ™‚

No-line Watercolor Spring Scene

Hi friends! I recently joined a group of crafty content creators called Team Tiny, where we are having monthly video hops. For this month the theme was Spring April Showers. I am so ready for the spring but it keeps snowing in my part of the world. So this was the perfect time to create a lovely spring scene with green trees, grass and bushes and of course cherry blossoms. But in the middle of all this sits the adorable Bunny πŸ™‚

You can check my video for all the details:
